Another thrilling moment of the Games came on the ice with the United States Men's National Sled Hockey Team in Para ice hockey. The U.S. capped off the tournament in spectacular fashion by defeating Canada Men's National Para Ice Hockey Team, 6–2, to claim the gold medal.
A standout performance came from Jack Wallace, who electrified the crowd by scoring three goals in the championship game. As tradition dictates in hockey, fans celebrated the feat by tossing their hats onto the ice, and you always wondered why they called this a “hat trick.”
